CCDI has a number of environmental-based publications to her name. The Publications are primarily aimed at raising awareness on environmental and sustainable human development issues. While some of our publications are freely distributed others are for sale. However income generated from sales of our publication is strictly meant and used to support our programme work.

  1. Living and Working with Climate Change (LWCC) June 2007:

    Some of the articles contained in the bulletin are summaries of IPCC reports. The June issue also contains short articles on coastal erosion, drought, agriculture, economics of climate change, the built environment and climate change opportunities. (

    The focus of the December 2007 issue has more emphasis on mitigation and adaptation measures and available solutions and opportunities. It contains articles on international funding sources for climate change projects, biofuels, efficient lighting technology and energy efficiency.

  1. Green Spaces in a mega city: Urban Greening as a Development tool 2005.

    The publication highlights and aims to stimulate interest in a number of areas that need further expansion and research. The main aim is to motivate people working in both the private and public sector in areas such as conservation, recreation, education, youth programmes, sports, farming, horticulture, forestry, landscape design, entertainment and land tenure policy making (e.t.c) that urban greening can make a huge contribution to achieving the Millennium Development Goals such as ensuring environmental sustainability and eradicating extreme poverty and hunger.     Till date, this is one of our most widely sought after publication. This publication is with a difference. While it is a useful tool for the specialist who wishes to obtain information about present levels of social and economic development and the environmental conditions around the country.
