We empower communities by promoting learning dialogues, through seminars, workshops and exhibitions for non governmental organizations, community based organisations, academics, policy-makers, journalists and practitioners, to develop a solid understanding of the social, economic and institutional dynamics affecting poverty alleviation and environmental protection.

  1. Climate Change in Nigeria-A New Challenge for the Insurance and Banking Industries (2007).  This was a dinner briefing on environment risk and climate change for managers of financial institutions. Apart from raising awareness the meeting opened up a dialogue on climate change with this sector, which should encourage them to integrate the environmental risks of climate change issues into their business practices. Over 14 people including managing directors, executive directors and senior managers from various financial institutions were present at the dinner briefing, which held at the Goethe Institute in Victoria Island, Lagos.

  2. Living and working with Climate Change: Adapt, Adopt and Survive (2007). This seminar was organized to disseminate information on the impact of climate change. It was held for over 60 participants and was indeed a great success. As a direct result for the first time climate change story made about Nigeria made the front page of a leading Newspaper. In attendance wee policy makes, government officials, the print and electronic, media, representatives of NGOs, corporate organisations, students and other individual.
